DREAMS OF REPLAY
Choreographer Susanna Leinonen takes the audience to an evocative journey. Music composed by Kasperi Laine and the brilliant narrative by Leinonen complement each other to create a powerful artistic vision.
In Dreams of Replay Leinonen has returned to her previous works. She has built the piece by listening, remembering, reflecting, thinking back and exploring the movement language from her previous choreographies. Rather than re-use the old material, Leinonen has created a new, unique world inspired by the journey to her past.
The result of this process is a piece where minimalistic scene design meets strange and abundant characters, where sound and light work in dialogue with movement to create affective and intriguing images. We are compelled to take a closer look: what is really happening on stage?
